The Camden County Educational Services Commission works on a contracted basis with area public districts to provide services to non-public schools. The funding of these services flows through the public district and are appropriated by the public district following consultation meetings to provide requested services to the non-public schools. Some of the creative and innovative ways these monies have been allocated to non-public schools for their students include, sign language interpretation, full and part-time instructional assistants, and additional sessions of related services (OT, PT and/or Speech).
CCESC contracts with the public district and hires, trains, places and evaluates staff for identified purchased educational services.
