Clementon, NJ -- The Camden County Educational Services Commission (CCESC) is expanding their partnership with Drexel University by providing an opportunity for CCESC employees and member school district employees to earn a doctoral degree online at a significant tuition savings.

Under this agreement, prospective students will be eligible for a 30 percent tuition savings on Drexel’s online doctoral programs, with no application fee. Online learning is often the preferred method for learning as there are no commuting costs and fewer family and career interruptions. The CCESC hopes to encourage continued learning by facilitating enrollment in Drexel's distinguished online programs.

“I am excited about the expansion of this partnership which now extends tuition savings to online doctoral programs. Our goal is to increase access to such programs for the purpose of providing relevant learning opportunities,” said Daniel Del Vecchio, superintendent of the Camden County Educational Services Commission. Since 1979, the Camden County Educational Services Commission has provided superior, cost-effective shared services to school districts throughout New Jersey.

“At Drexel University, we’ve seen first-hand the transformative power of education. That’s why we’re thrilled that our partnership with the Camden County Educational Services Commission will help more professionals pursue their online EdD in Educational Leadership and Management,” said Susan Aldridge, PhD, senior vice president of online learning at Drexel University. “The online EdD gives professionals the ability to work full-time while pursuing their degree, and the tuition savings makes it possible for more professionals to achieve their goal of earning a doctoral degree.”

Drexel University specializes in innovative, internet-based education programs for working professionals, organizations and corporations. Having offered online degrees since 1996, Drexel is known as a leader in technology-enhanced education and enjoys regional accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
