WHITE HORSE ACADEMY

The Camden County Educational Services Commission, in conjunction with all Camden County School Districts, sponsors White Horse Academy, an alternative program for middle school students. The Academy provides a drug and violence-free, structured, non-traditional setting for students who are not performing up to the expectations of their home districts, either academically or socially.  Candidates may be regular or special education students. 

White Horse Academy utilizes a school day that, in the morning, includes skill-based instruction aligned with the Core Content Standards and a student-centered, project-based vocational component, character education, technology and counseling programs in the afternoon.  Community resources, family communication and intense academic instruction ensure that students return to their home district with renewed motivation for social and academic success.
