TRANSITION SERVICES

The Commission offers travel training and job coaching services to assist districts fulfill their responsibilities to provide transition services for special education students in planning and preparing for life beyond high school.  Travel trainers work with students to develop skills to use the public transit system independently.  Job coaches assist students in developing work related skills at the job site.  Services are provided on an hourly or per diem, case by case basis.
