Each spring, the Board of Education of each member district elects a representative to serve on the Commission’s Representative Assembly. The Assembly meets twice a year. At an organizational meeting in June, fifteen members are elected to serve on the Board of Directors. The purpose of the second meeting of the Assembly is to adopt the budget for the upcoming school year.

The Board of Directors meets on a monthly basis to conduct business in a manner similar to local Boards of Education.
